SAWMILL:

The sawmill is where it all starts; what truly makes us a

manufacturer of Indiana's finest kiln-dried hardwoods via the

8' double cut band mill and 6' band resaw.  The mill is also where

we produce most of our firewood, wood chips, and mulch - as well as

some of our sawdust.  We have in-house blade leveling and sharpening

capabilities with trained saw filers.

DH Dry Kilns:

Our kilns run seven days a week, 24 hours a day and

have a capacity of 360,000 BF.  Our expert kiln staff

ensure quality conditioning and equalization maintained at

a consistent 6-8% MC.  These kilns allow us to dry from

dead green, ensuring better color and consistency.

Grading Mill:

Our lumber graders grade according to NHLA standards with

an efficient computer-controlled grading system.  We provide regular

and export packaging on all lumber, per customer request.

We offer S2S, S3S, and rough lumber from this mill; utilizing our

Northfield planer and Deihl rip saw.

Dimension Mill:

The dimension mill produces S4S, S3S, and S2S lumber in many species

as well as moldings (both standard and custom), flooring, paneling,

glued panels, drawer sides, stair treads, handrail, balusters, and other

blanks.  We utilize Wadkins 9" molders, a Deihl 12" molder, Mattison and

Mereen-Johnson 24" gangrip saws, a 32"x16.5' Taylor clamp carrier,

and a TimeSavers 53" planer/sander.  We also provide our

own in-house knives and templates for custom work.
